I managed to finish the granny square stashbusting project in time - to be exact I was just weaving in the last end at about 11:50 pm on May 31st. So it came close, but hey! I made it! It's washed and blocked already but no photos yet. I'm waiting for the SUN, still. Rain, rain go away...
I immediately turned to my next-in-line-of-neglected-projects: Oddurs wool jacket/sweater. This sweater is his Christmas present. I wish I could tell you that I'm being super organized and timely and that this is to be his gift for next Christmas but of course that's not the case! I slipped a homemade "gift card" for a made-by-me-sweater along with his (smaller) present last Christmas, and now it's time to make it happen for real. I already chose a pattern, although I'm using Snælda wool yarn instead of Lopi and then I'm adding a hood and there's going to be some steeking and zipper-adding. I've finished one sleeve so far and since this is bulky yarn and large needles I am hoping it will all be done very soon. Because then there is only one project left of my finish-what-you've-started crafting mission and I'll be able to cast on something fresh.
Best wished to you all. If you have sunshine, please send some my way :)
